4. Creating a New Setup Stage for Machining the Opposite Side of the Part

In this video, we complete the part machining process, including spindle transfer setup and final turning operations.
Here's what we'll cover:

  • creating a spindle takeover operation with stage configuration and part transfer;
  • proper tool change and adjusting the chamfering operation to ensure the tool is facing the correct direction;
  • setting chamfer parameters, including material removal depth and number of passes;
  • fixing the drilling operation by disabling drill length compensation and increasing depth to fully pierce the part;
  • recalculating and simulating all operations to verify correctness;
  • setting up a grooving operation to precisely remove material in the designated area;
  • finishing with an external roughing pass followed by a finishing pass, verifying tool direction and area coverage;
  • final process check with high-speed simulation to assess the overall result.

In the next video, I’ll show you how to properly export the G-code for the machine. Thanks for watching — see you soon!
